2012/13 WIL SPORT HYOSUNG GT250R CUP
Hyosung is proud to announce following the success of the inaugural 2011/12 Hyosung GT250R CUP it will run again as part of the Auckland Motorcycle Club 2012/ Summer Series. Last year saw over 30 Hyosung's competing for bragging rights in New Zealand’s closets race series on Hyosung's GT250R V-Twin Sport bikes.
The five round championship is part of the Auckland Motorcycle Club series running over the summer 2012/2013 at Hampton Downs and Pukekohe circuits. The series start on 29th September 2012 at Hampton Downs.
The bikes can be any standard production model Hyosung GT250R with certain minor modification allowed as per MNZ ‘Pro Lite’ rules. There are 10 races in the championship; two races per race day. Race one will be a ‘Le Mans’ start and race two a normal static grid start. There will be a Hyosung Pit Village at every meeting offering help and advice. There is a total prize fund of $10,000 with prize giving at every round. The championship winner will be awarded the HYOSUNG GT250R CUP presented by ex world champion Graeme Crosby. The registration fee for the series is $250 and entry is limited to 35 bikes.
